I believe the proof is in the pudding, and that foremost you should like my style of photography, and second to that and equally important, we should feel at ease with each other. I do give a personal service, and I will be “in your face” a lot. So when I'm taking your photos, whether it is for a Wedding, Family or Creative Portrait, I need you to trust me and feel comfortable.
I have been a Full-Time Photographer since 2010, and have been an entrepreneur since 1998. I don’t drink and smoke, so I don’t need to pop out for smoke break every now and then, and won’t get drunk on your wedding...( Some photographers do, it’s scary I know..)
Living in Hartenbos, but my playground includes Mossel Bay, George and Wilderness. If petrol was cheap, I would most likely get n home on wheels.
Communication is important to me, and so is delivering what I promise, and delivering it on time. Every shoot is downloaded, edited and processed as soon as possible. So you don't have to wait for weeks and months to get your images.
About me, on a more personal note, I’m an “afrikaanse boertjie”. When I’m not working, I’m either designing and building stuff, or enjoying nature, or having a braai.
Maar ek is nou nie hier om my lewensverhaal te skryf nie, en jy soek mooi fotos. So, epos of bel of whatsapp dat ons kan gesels.
I look at social media and all the shit that's going on in the world, and I wonder where all of this is going to end.
Most people fear change, I embrace it most of the time. BUT! Not all change is good.
When I see all the new social media apps, and the way people interact, and what they post... I sometimes just sit and wonder "what the hell?". I learn from the marketing gurus, you have to upate posts and blogs and use this app and that app... I don't have time for this shit, and I don't want to.
I have to find better ways to improve marketing! But how? If you are not constantly on facebook or any other app, your profile just fade away. I have spent a small fortune on advertising, some work, some don't, but it's not enough.
There is a limit on what I will spend on marketing, and that limit has nothing to do with money.
So? If I don't post a weekly blog, or 3 times a day on facebook, It does not mean I gave up, or that I am gone. I would rather have a chat face to face, because I believe in quality service. I am not a "wholesale" thousand photos for cheap photographer.
Enough of this, see ya!
